Anointed worship is an important part of every Sunday at Ignite, but we want genuine, heart-to-heart worship, not smoke machines and laser lights.
At Ignite, we choose to use songs that most people know and love but also include the best of the newer songs. We want every person to be able to worship the Lord freely, and believe that singing songs we all know and love should be part of the worship experience.
OK, we are not totally against all the mod cons, but we believe genuine worship happens in the hearts of those worshipping, not in the effects on stage.
At Ignite, we don’t have darkened rooms, laser lights, and professional musicians and singers. We also don’t just sing new songs, songs you’ve never heard of. We try and find the best of the best in modern songs, but mix them in with songs that you probably know and love.
So we mix songs you know with a few new songs, and have an acoustic guitar driven style that is loved by all ages.
We also make sure the volume isn’t blowing your eardrums out week by week. It’s genuine, easy listening, simple worship that allows every person, regardless of their age or background, to worship freely and from the heart
